Whether you’re in the studio or tuning in from home, you will use small, isolated movements to work every muscle group in Barre Alive. See and feel the difference in your muscle tone and strength in no time!

The smallest movements often lead to the BIGGEST changes, especially when you use ALL of your muscles. Barre Alive will have you pulsing, stretching, and squatting your way to healthy, lean muscle tone. Our gender-inclusive Barre classes utilize isotonic exercises proven to build strength and lead to increased metabolism, and fat burning. Expect to use the Barre, your mat, and lots of energy as you burn, shake, and plie to your strongest self.

* Hand weights are optional, but not provided. Please come prepared with your own props.*

*Must be 16 years or older to participate in Barre classes. Ages 13 and up must have a parent or
guardian present.

Frequently Asked Questions:

Do men come to Barre class?

YES, men are welcome!  This class will have more females attending, but we do have men that attend on a regular basis.  It’s always a fun “date night”!

Is this class hard on your feet/toes?

Our barre program will have students on their toes throughout the class. Our instructors will give modification and breaks to rest the feet.Your feet should feel alive!

I've tried Barre and my legs shake. Is that normal?

Yes, this is normal.  Since most of the work is done at the barre, the movements are very small and controlled. This is called isometric contractions.  Shaking is your body’s way of saying, I am “feeling it”!  Try to embrace the shakes. It means you are working hard.
